Queen's geography is recognized internationally for three broad areas of specialization: urban and economic geography; social, historical and cultural geography; and earth systems science. As a geography student at Queen's, you will be able to explore these areas and study subjects, including the geographies of health and health care, the politics of urban development and planning, climate change, nutrient and water cycles and themes of social class, ethnicity, racism, gender and age. Students are also provided with a rigorous training in qualitative and quantitative research methods, remote sensing and geographic information systems.
