The Carleton Awards website (http://carleton.ca/awards/) provides detailed information about financial assistance. Staff are available to meet with individual students to assist them. Undergraduate and graduate student awards are available for Aboriginal students and students engaged in Aboriginal research.

Financial guidance

The Awards department provides all students with guidance for grants and OSAP. Basic information can be provided for RESP and Canada Learning Bonds after which the students will be referred to the banking institution providing these services.

Our weekly newsletter Minwadjimowin (Good News) is a great resource for Awards, job postings, activities in Ojigkwanong (Aboriginal Centre) and around campus as well as within the Ottawa Aboriginal community. Some of the Aboriginal focused activities are Aboriginal students orientation, Children's Pow Wow, an honouring ceremony for Indigenous graduates, Manitobah Mukluks Storyboot School, Lectures, Panel Discussions, Films, Traditional and Contemporary Art Performances.
