Financial guidance

Aboriginal Student Centre assists Aboriginal students with financial planning and accessing government funds. SAFA staff also conduct a number of information sessions in the Aboriginal Career Centre on how to apply for scholarships and awards. In addition, the university communicates funding opportunities available to Aboriginal students. This includes direct emails to students, word-of-mouth and working with campus partners (ie Aboriginal Student Centre, Aboriginal Career Centre and First Nations University of Canada) to ensure staff are aware of opportunities, application processes and deadline dates.
