NIPISSING UNIVERSITY

Nipissing University is a primarily undergraduate institution dedicated to providing a personalized and exceptional student experience in which every student has a chance to learn, grow and chart a path to a successful future. Undergraduate students have opportunities to participate in original research and engage in a wide range of enriching co-curricular activities.

In close proximity to North Bay’s urban centre as well as lakes and pristine Canadian Shield forest, students can easily enjoy both the city and the natural environment when taking a break from academic pursuits.

Nipissing celebrated its 25th anniversary as an independent university in 2017, and its roots extend back over 100 years to the North Bay Normal School. The modern Nipissing houses three faculties: Applied and Professional Studies, Arts and Science, and Education, as well as the School of Graduate Studies.
